Mercury rises to 37.8 Deg C in Bengal
Kolkata, June 11 (UNI) Hot weather conditions continued to prevail in the city for the second day today as the mercury rose to 37.8 degrees Celsius.
People have been facing unbearable heat condition since yesterday with increasing humidity and no signs of rain.
Even as monsoon have arrived in Bengal a week before its schedule, there was no sign of rains, MET office said.
It said while mercury rose to 37.8 degrees C, the minimum temperatrue was 27.9 degrees C while the humidity was 49 per cent.
