Kuldip challenges Hooda for debate
Hisar, June 11 (UNI) Kuldip Bishnoi, the younger son of Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) chief Bhajan Lal and Member of Parliament, has challenged Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda for a pulic debate on certain issues including land deal with Reliance.
Mr Bishnoi told mediapersons here yesterday that the promises made during election were not fulfilled and the people, who voted the Congress to power were disappointed with the shaddy performance of the Chief Minister.
Mr Bishnoi said the party high command should replace Mr Hooda for the safe future of the party in Haryana.
In reply to a question about the alleged indiscipline being created by him, he said he had improved the image of the party among the masses. Most of the Congress MLAs and MPs in the state have supported his stand on this issue, he claimed.
Regarding the land deal with Reliance, the MP said that his intention was only to advice the government to exhibit transparency, as he was not opposed to development as such.
He said this memorandum of understanding should be cancelled in the larger interest of the public and the state.
