Gang bringing fake currency from Nepal busted
Varanasi, June 11 (UNI) A gang involved in smuggling fake currency from Nepal was today busted by the Special Task Force (STF) of the Uttar Pradesh police.
STF said it has nabbed Sanjay Yadav, Ram Bhawan Yadav and Dina Yadav with counterfeit currency worth Rs 29,500 stacked in Rs 500 bundles.
The three allegedly used to get the counterfeit notes from ISI operatives active in the Himalayan Kingdom and supply the same in Poorvanchal (east UP).
The STF team, led by ASP Umesh Kumar Singh, nabbed the three from the Varanasi bus stand.
