BJP demands roundtable conference on terrorism
Jammu, June 11 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir BJP has demanded the Centre hold a roundtable conference on terrorism to discuss the issue and evolve a consensus on it.
Addressing mediapersons here today, Jammu and Kashmir party president Nirmal Singh said the state and its people have suffered a lot due to terrorism since many years. ''It is high time Prime Minister Manmohan Singh calls a third roundtable on the issue to discuss it and evolve a consensus to crush terrorism.'' He accused the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre and coalition government in the state of not having a concrete strategy to take on terrorists, who are carrying on their activities in Valley in a fearless manner.
