50-year-old man found dead

Mumbai, June 11 (UNI) The police today found a body of a 50-year-old person lying in a pool of blood with a slashed throat in suburban Andheri.

Police said the deceased, identified as Murli Iyanhi, was alone in his flat, situated on Versova Link Road, this afternoon when some unidentified people came and killed him, before fleeing from the scene with some valuables.

The exact amount of booty is yet to be ascertained, they said.

A case has been registered against the unidentified persons by the D N Nagar police station.
