Weak monsoon prevails in AP
Hyderabad, June 10 (UNI) The weather was mainly dry over Telangana, while rain occurred at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and isolated over Rayalaseema.
Weak monsoon conditions prevailed in the state, the Weather office said.
Rain/thundershowers were likely at isolated places over all the three regions of the state. The chief amounts of rainfall recorded in cm were Machilipatnam, Sattenapalli (Guntur dist) 2 each and Gudivada&Prakasam Barrage (both Krishna dist), Kandukur (Prakasam dist), Tenali (Guntur dist) one each.
The maximum temperatures rose at one or two places and were above normal over Telangana. The highest maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius was recorded at Ramagundam&Nizamabad.
