US delegation visits mill

Pondicherry, June 10 (UNI) A two member delegation from the "Indo-US link", A U S based private institution today visited the government owned Anglo-french textile mills here.

The institution had evinced interest in the purchase of the cloth manufactured by the mill. Led by it's president Madhavi Verma, the team went round the mill and made an on the spot study of the functioning of the mill and assessed the quality of the cloth.

The institution intended to purchase cloth from the mill to sell it in the US.

Earlier Ms.Madhavi Verma and Mr Solanki held discussions with industries minister V.Vaithilingam.
