Unprecedented security for Amarnath Yatra
Srinagar, June 10 (UNI) Security forces have been put on high alert along the entire route of the annual Amarnath pilgrimage which starts tomorrow.
The first batch of 606 pilgrims left Jammu this morning for Baltal and Pahalgam under unprecedented security arrangements, official sources said.
The pilgrims, including 328 male, 127 female, 24 children and 127 sadhus, arrived here safely, officials said.
