Guwahati, June 10 (UNI) Two more people were killed and 35 others received injuries as ULFA continued explosions for the third consecutive night.

Reports of seven explosions came in tonight, including two in Guwahati town.

The orgy of violence, in complete trademark ULFA style, continues unabated despite tall claims by government, as the militants carefully chose security posts and oil installations as well as vital government buildings to show their might.

So far 18 explosions have taken place in the last three days in the state.

Ganeshguri Chariali, the market place near the state secretariat was once again targetted and one died on the spot, one in the Guwahati Medical College (GMC) and 25 others received injuries in the blast.

In yet another incident about 30 minutes before the first blast, a Railway Petrol Force (RPF) camp was attacked at Bamunimaidan, injuring seven security personnel.

A CRPF camp and the District Magistrate's bungalow at Sibsagar and three more places in Tinsukia district at Langkasi near Bordubi, Makum and Lakhipthar area of Tinsukia district were also targetted.

All are ULFA dominated areas and details of these blasts are not known.

''It is difficult to stop such carpet bombing'' admitted a senior police official.

Significantly, this afternoon, the ULFA claimed responsibility for all attacks since last night, but disowned others, saying that it was the handiwork of the intelligence agencies.

EDS Pl pick up suitably from earlier series.
