Train service hit as more bombs in Asom

Guwahati, Jun 09 (UNI) Train services in Asom were hit as four more bombs were exploded by the ULFA late tonight in Uppper Asom.

Two bombs went off at Naharkatiya, one at Duliajan and another at Doomodoma between 2200-2330 hours. There were no casualty but the blasts near Naharkatiya damaged an oil pipe line running close to the railway line.

The pipe line has caught fire forcing NF Railway to stop operation on the track and as result several long distance trains have been detained at Naharkatya.

Earlier, in a powerful bomb blast five people were killed at Guwahati while another bob was defused near Srimapur in Kkarjhar district.
