Sena activists disrupt Geelani's press conference

Jammu, June 10 (UNI) Shiv Sena activists disrupted breakway Hurriyat Conference chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani's press conference here today.

Mr Geelani was released on bail He was scheduled to address a press conference in a city hotel. About 20 Shivsaniks arrived there and raised slogans against the separatist leader.

Terming Mr Geelani as an ''agent of Pakistan'', they asked him to leave the venue saying they would not allow him to speak in the winter capital. But the Hurritat leader did not leave.

The police arrived and asked Mr Geelani to leave the place keeping in view the sensitive situation.

Meanwhile, state Janta Party president Somnath Dabgotra alongwith his supporters also came to the venue and raised slogans against the Hurriyat leader.

Mr Geelani was arrested on June 7 when he was heading for Poonch district to address a gathering there.
