Rs 12 lakh worth spirit seized

Bellary, June 10 (UNI) Police today seized spirit worth over Rs 12 lakh, being illegally transported from Bijapur to Bangalore, from a truck near Kudligi town on National Highway-13.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Girijapathi told reporters here that based on a specific tip-off, Kudligi police intercepted the truck and seized 32 cans of spirit.
