Nigerian arrested for duping

Gaya (Bihar), June 10 (UNI) A Nigerian was arrested on charges of duping a hotel owner and extorting more than Rs one lakh from him.

Mr Okaro was arrested in New Delhi, a week back and was produced before a local court today.

Police said Mr Okaro stayed in a local hotel on Dak Bungalow road during March and demanded money from the hotel owner on the plea that he had run out of it. He promised to return the money but continued to avoid making payments to him and left for New Delhi.

The hotel owner informed the Noida police about the incident giving details about his wherabouts. Later he was arrested there last week and Gaya police brought him here today.
