Manash Bhuiya elected Cong leg Party leader

Kolkata, Jun 10: The Congress in West Bengal today unanimously elected Mr Manash Bhuiya as the Legislature Party Leader in the West Bengal assembly.

Pradesh Congress Committee president Pranab Mukherjee said after a meeting of the party legislatures that Mr Abu Hena had been elected as a deputy of Mr Bhuiya while Mr Ashit Mal would be party's Chief Whip.

"All the three had been elected unnanimously" Mr Mukherjee said.

He informed that 20 out of the party 21 MLAs were present at the meeting.

The newly conttituted asembly would begin on July 12.
