Local bodies election to be held in two phases

Chittoor, June 10 (UNI) The State Election Commission today issued a notification for panchayat election in the state, district collector S S Rawat here today.

Speaking to reporters here, he said the eletions in the state would be held in two phases and in the districes, elections to 853 MPTC and 65 ZPTC would be held on July Two along with other districts of Srikakulum, Visakhapatnam, West Govidari, Guntur, Nellore, Ranga Reddy, Vikarabad, Warangal, Khammam, Mahaboob Nagar.

The candidate can file the nomination papers from June 13 to 17 and the last date for withdrawal is June 21, he said.

The counting will be held on July 4 and the results to be announced on the same day, the collector said.
