Lata Mangeshkar library on anvil

Indore, June 10 (UNI) A library christened after Melody Queen Lata Mangeshkar will be set up in this city, which is her birthplace, and the facility will be a repository of cassettes and CDs of her songs as well as the creations of those bestowed with the Lata Mangeshkar Samman over the years.

The decision was taken last night at a Lata Mangeshkar Alankaran Samaroh Organising Committee meeting chaired by Divisional Commissioner Ashok Das.

A committee was formed for the purpose and the library would be located at the Government Devi Ahilya Library's new building.
