Kalam calls for courage in fall of difficulties

Hyderabad, June 10 (UNI) The President Dr Abdul Kalam today underscored the need for imbibing indomitable spirit to overcome difficulties and to serve the people with a renewed spirit.

He was speaking at a function at Chiranjeevi charitable Trust after unveiling the commemorative plaque today. Addressing the Trust members and other dignitaries, the President said that indomitable spirit is required for the success of any mission, and a mission which functions with a noble cause requires a vision leading to higher goals of achievement. Narrating a poem from famous Thirukku ral, the President said a man can succeed in his mission, if there is a definite determination to achieve a goal even if it is impossible to achieve. He also said that man should not be defeated by problems, but he should become master of the situation and defeat the problems.

Complimenting the activities of Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust, the President said that the Trust is working with a prime objective of bridging the demand and supply of safe and screened blood and to bring down the rate of corneal blindness. He also complimented the Trust for providing blood free of cost to the needy people.
