ICC team to visit Champions Trophy venues

Chandigarh, June 10 (UNI) A team of International Cricket Council (ICC) will be visiting the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) stadium in Mohali tomorrow to have first hand information regarding arrangements being made for hosting the matches of the ICC Champions Trophy 2006 in October-November.

Giving this information here today, PCC secretary M P Pandove, who is also joint secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), said a powerpoint presentation would be made by ICC representative Mike Dudhia.

Besides Mohali, other centres which will be hosting the Champions Trophy matches are Mumbai, Jaipur and Ahmedabad.

Australia, South Africa, India, Pakistan, New Zealand, England, Sri Lanka, West Indies, Zimbabwe and Bangladesh will take part in the tournament.
