Hrishikesh Mukherjee's condition deteriorates
Mumbai, June 10 (UNI) The condition of Dadasaheb Phalke awardee and legendary filmmaker Hrishikesh Mukherjee, who is admitted in the Leelavati hospital, has deteriorated, sources said.
Mukherjee is in the intensive care unit (ICU) and the doctors are monitoring his condition. He is still on dialysis and is not stable, the sources said.
Since the news of Mukherjee's illness broke out, a stream of visitors including film personalities like Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Gulzar, Madhur Bhandarkar, Farooq Sheikh and Anupam Kher have called on the ailing thespian.
Mukherjee's best known works include 'Satyakam', 'Guddi', 'Namak Haram', 'Milee', 'Golmaal', 'Chupke Chupke', 'Khoobsurat', 'Asli Naqli','Ashirwad' 'Anand', 'Anupama' and 'Aashirwad'.
