HIV patient cured with ''cowpathy'', claims vaidya

Hisar, June 10 (UNI) A treatment with medicines prepared with cow's milk, urine and dung, has successfuly treated a HIV positive woman, naturopath Swami Karamgiri and Vaidya Ram Niwas Jatasra today claimed at a joint press conference here.

Showing the blood test reports of a woman patient, who was tested HIV positive by a certified laboratory in Kaithal, Vaidya Jatasra said her treatment started on January 15, 2006 and she has been tested HIV negative in the report dated May 28, 2006.

''The new medicine will now be used for research on a larger scale before we apply for a patent.'' Swami Karamvir said.

''We have contacted Swami Ramdev to personally assess the efficacy of the 'desi' medicine'', said Vaidya Jatasra, who heads the department of cowpathy in Vishva Bharti Kisan Jagriti Shikshan Sansthan of Ladwa goshala.

''Cowpathy has proved a boon for patients who could not find any treatment in allopathy. The findings at the Sansthan revealed that AIDS patients can be cured within six months with medicines costing Rs 100 daily,'' Vaidya Jatasra said.

''Swami Ramdev has agreed to hold week-long yoga camp here and he will also lay the foundation stone of a Research Centre here,'' he said.
