Gadag records 8 cm rain

Bangalore, Jun 10 (UNI) Following is a summary of observatons recorded by the weather office at 0830 hrs today.

Monsoon was weak over coastal Karnataka and south interior Karnataka. Rainfall occurred at many places over coastal Karnataka; at a few places over north interior Karnataka and at isolated places over south interior Karnataka.

Gadag recorded heavy rainfall of 8 cm.

Other chief rainfall amounts (CM): Indi 4; Gakak 3; Mulki, Kundapur, Bhatkal, Karwar, Mangalore, Muddebihal, Bijapur, Agumbe 1 each.

Forecast valid until Monday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at a few places over the State.
