CPI(M)-TDP ties for Panchayat polls "hypothetical":CM

Hyderabad, June 10 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy tonight dismissed as ''hypothetical'' reports that the CPI(M) was bracing up for a tie up with the TDP in the event of failure of talks with the Congress.

Talking to reporters at the airport soon after seeing off President A P J Abdul Kalam, he said State Party Chief K Keshava Rao was holding talks with all the allies on the issue. The party would finalise its poll strategy tomorrow, he informed.

The electoral understanding for the polls would be reached only at the local level, he added.

Expressing happiness over Dr Kalam decision to stay at the ''Rashtrapati Nilayam'' here, the official residence of the President in South India, he said the President assured him to make frequent stays at the ''Rashtrapati Nilayam''. The President's suggestion to realise the enormous potential of biodiesel would be well taken, he added.
