BBC's special world cup programmes through "Radio One"
Chennai, June 10 (UNI) The BBC will deliver all news and excitement of FIFA world cup 2006 to the listeners through a Mumbai-based radio station, ''Radio One.'' BBC reporter Manak Gupta would file daily regular reports, interviews and other stories from various venues in Germany, a BBC release here said.
''There will also be packages about world cup history, main players, profiles of the participating teams along with other football trivia specially produced by the BBC,'' it said.
Radio One is a joint venture between Mid-Day Multimedia and BBC Worldwide, the BBC's commercial arm for operating FM radio stations in India.
