Volvo launches hydraulic excavator in Asom

Guwahati, June 09 (UNI) Volvo Construction Equipment, Indian subsidiary of AB Volvo, today launched its EC 140BLC Hydraulic Excavator at a road show here.

Speaking at a press conference, the company's Construction Equipment Division vice-president Mrityunyaya Singh said, ''The focus on infrastructure development in the North East has given impetus to growth of construction equipment requirement.

After thorough market research to find the best suited model from Volvo's wide offering in hydraulic excavators, we decided to showcase the EC 140BLC model here.'' This new Volvo B-series excavator has been developed specially to provide good fuel economy, low noise and long service life. The new excavator represents the latest in engineering technology.
