Two women killed in road accident

Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu, Jun 9 (UNI) Two women were killed and six women injured near Mamallapuram when a bus in which they were travelling went off the road.

Police said the mishap occurred when 47 women were proceeding in a private bus to a private company, where they are employed, at Navalur near Thiruporur.

One woman died on the spot and another died at hospital.

The injured were admitted in a Chengalpattu hospital.

A case has been registered and an investigation, was underway, police added.
