Two LeT terrorists nabbed, ploy to attack Somnath temple foiled

Ahmedabad, June 9 (UNI) The Anti-Terrorist Squad of the Gujarat police today arrested two Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorists and claimed to have unearthed a conspiracy to attack the RSS headquarters and the historic Somnath temple.

Two of the LeT men--Sheikh Umar Farooq Mohd Nooruddin and Vakil Ahmed Mohd Syed alias Tasoo Alia--were nabbed today from their residences in the city, DIG, ATS D G Vanzara said at a press conference.

They were apprehended by the police, with the help of information provided by another two LeT men---Mohammad Ali Chandmia Chhipa and Feroze Abdul Latif Ghaswala--who had been arrested in Delhi last month and brought here on tranfer warrant.
