Thakur appointed ICPE DG

New Delhi, Jun 9 (UNI) Heavy Industries Secretary Priyadarshi Thakur was unanimously elected Director General of the International Center for Promotion of Enterprises (ICPE) in Slovenia today.

Mr Thakur has been elected to the Ljubljana-based centre for a four-year period with effect from October 1, 2006, an official statement here said.

India is one of the founder members of ICPE.
