Steps will be taken to solve people's problem: Stalin

Thiruvallur, Tamil Nadu June 9 (UNI) Local Administration and Rural Development Minister M K Stalin today said problems faced by the people in Thiruvallur district would be solved..

Talking to newspersons here after the review meeting with his partymen held here he said steps were initiated to complete the pending works left undone by the previous AIADMK Government. Efforts were undertaken to formulate plans for the development of the district, he added.

Mr Stalin said the officials were directed to look into the drinking water problem, road development facilities and sewage menace.

He alleged that despite steps taken earlier to provide funds from the Member of Parliament from Tamil Nadu to provide drinking water facilities at Balaji Nagar and K K Nagar in Alandur panchayats with a provision of three lakh and two lakh litres of water tanks respectively, efforts were not taken for laying pipe connections due to political considerations.
