Rohit Ferro's net up by 239%, recommends 10% dividend

New Delhi, June 9 (UNI) Rohit Ferro-Tech Ltd today announced that it registered a 239 per cent increase in its net profits for the year ending March 31, 2006, at Rs 2,62.43 crore as compared to Rs 7.75 crore, recommending a dividend of 10 per cent on the entire post-issue capital.

The company's net sales were up by 34 per cent at Rs 127.40 crore as compared to Rs 953.62 crore.

The company, a export house, operates a ferro alloy plant of a capacity of 40,000 tonnes per annum of high carbon ferro chrome at Bishnupur, West Bengal.
