Poacher arrested in Meghalaya

Shillong, Jun 9 (UNI) Meghalaya's Wildlife Protection personnel has arrested a poacher from Nongkyllem sanctuary in Ri-Bhoi District.

They also seized a Samba deer meat along with arms and ammuntion from his possession.

Forest Department officials here said the accused has been booked under various sections of Wildlife Protection Act, 1972.
