One held with heroin worth Rs 40 lakh

Lucknow, Jun 9 (UNI) A special team of the Moradabad police today arrested one person and recovered 400 gms of heroin worth Rs 40 lakh in the international market.

Police said, the special team arrested Ashiq from the Civil Lines area and seized the contraband. He was involved in the smuggling of drugs for the past many years and was a member of an inter-state gang, police added.
