More TRS members join Congress

Hyderabad, June 9 (UNI) Sixteen Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) members including a few prominent leaders today joined Congress.

According to party sources, former MP and MLA Gotte Bhoopathi, former Vice-President and political affairs committee member of TRS S K Gandhi and 11 Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituency (MPTC) members, two Mandal Parishad Presidents (MPP), one Zila Parishad Territorial Constituency (ZPTC) had joined the Congress.

According to a press release from Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee here today, 25 sarpanches, six Water Users Societies Presidents and 20 Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies Directors along with their followers also joined the Congress.

PCC President Dr K Keshava Rao admitted them into the party.
