Humidity level soars in UP
Lucknow, June 9 (UNI) Despite sporadic rainfall in the last 24 hrs, the humidity levels continued to be high in Uttar Pradesh making the weather sultry and uncomfortable for the people.
The met office said here light rainfall/thundershowers were reported from Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Lucknow and Faizabad divisions.
Although, the mercury kept on the lower side at all the places, humidity levels have soared considerably.
Meanwhile, Agra recorded the maximum temperature of 43 degrees Celsius in the state.
In the next 24 hrs, a few districts are likely to experience rainfall accompanied with squall, the weatherman forecast.
