Financial aid for train mishap victims
Ratlam, MP, Jun 9 (UNI) The Railways have sanctioned financial assistance for 25 persons injured today when a passenger train rammed a tractor-trolley within Nimbahera area in Rajasthan's Chittaurgarh district, which comes under Ratlam Rail Division.
The victims, six of whom were severely hurt, were admitted to hospitals in Nimbahera. So far, nine victims were provided Rs 5,000 each and 11 others received Rs 500 each.
As per a release here, Additional Divisional Railway Manager N K Gupta led senior officers to the spot. The list of injured was provided to Ratlam, Indore, Neemuch, Mandsaur and Chittaurgarh stations.
The 582 Fast Passenger was delayed by an hour due to the mishap.
