Agitation against oil price hike

New Delhi, June 9 (UNI) The Communist Party of India (Marxist- Leninist) and the Loktantrik Samajwadi Party organised protest meetings here today against the hike in oil prices.

Demonstrations were also organised by both parties against the government decision.

Meanwhile, in a statement, the Delhi unit of the Indian Federation of Trade Unions condemned the hike and called on the Left allies of the ruling UPA to reconsider support to the government.
