97 drug peddlers arrested

Mumbai, Jun 9 (UNI) The anti-narcotics cell (ANC) of Mumbai Police today arrested 97 drug peddlers and registered 11 cases against them in the wake of a search operation launched by a Delhi Police team, which is here for the past two days to find out Sahil Zaroo's drug links.

ANC officials said in a special drive, they have arrested 97 drug peddlers and registered 11 cases against them.

The raid was the outcome of a search operation undertaken by Delhi Police to find out the drug links of Sahil Zaroo, who had allegedly supplied drugs to Rahul Mahajan, the son of late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan, sources said.

All the arrested drug-addicts will be produced in the court tomorrow, the sources added.
