85 lawyers lose right to practice
Sehore, MP, June 9 (UNI) The Sehore District Bar Association today terminated the membership of 85 lawyers even as 33 were under investigation.
''Following a State Bar Council directive, 118 advocates have been identified. They are registered but do not practise,'' said Association President K U Qureshi.
The annulment decision was taken at a meeting of the Association's Working Committee and a separate committee formed for probing the 33 lawyers.
Four years back, 95 such advocates' membership was terminated.
