Pondy bans 'The Da Vinci Code'

Pondicherry, June 8 (UNI) The Pondicherry administration has banned the screening of controversial film 'The Da Vinci Code' here.

According to official sources, Pondicherry Lt.Governor M M Lakhera banned the screening of the film on the grounds that it will disturb public peace.

Earlier, the Chrisitan forum had sought a ban on the film from the government.
