Police unearth more explosives

Hyderabad, June 8 (UNI) Close on the heels of the recovery of arms dumps in the Nallamala Forests of Prakasam District, police unearthed more explosives in Warangal and Nizamabad Districts of Andhra Pradesh.

Police here today said a special party combing the naxal-infested Manubotulagandi in Warangal district recovered three tiffin boxes containing three kg gelatine sticks.

In Nizamabad, another special party recovered three plastic buckets containing explosives, on the outskirts of the Gokul Thanda under the Sadashivanagar Police Station limits.

While combing the Nallamala Forests yesterday, the Prakasam District police discovered two.303 rifles, 99 live rounds of ammunition and a landmine weigting 10 kg.
