FIR against school secretary
Patna, Jun 8 (UNI) Bihar Vigilance Investigation Bureau has registred an FIR against the secretary of government middle girl school on charges of forgery and corruption.
The case was registered under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Prevention of Corruption Act (PCA).
According to the FIR, the accused, Mr Vatsayan, through a Bank account opened on the basis of forged signature of a school teacher Archana Jamiyar (who is dead) misappropriated about Rs 1.38 lakh, the salary amount of the said teacher.
As per the charges, the teacher was working in the school since 1983 and her service was confirmed by the office of district education superintendent in 1998.
The case was registered after a direction of 'Lokayukt' Bihar.
