Enquiry going on attacks on journalists

Hyderabad, Jun 8 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Minister for Information and Public Relations Mohammed Ali Shabber today said an enquiry was going on the incident of attacks on Journalists recently by Minister for Panchayat Raj, J C Diwakar Reddy and MLA Malreddy Rangareddy.

He told newspersons here after inaugurating the Computer and Internet facilities at Hyderabad Union of Journalists (HUJ) office that the report would be submitted to Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy soon.

The Minister also assured that land would be allotted to the office of HUJ after Panchayat Raj Elections.

The Minister exhorted Journalists not to misuse their rights and freedom of expression and protect the freedom of expression of the political leaders in society.
