Datastrip Limited to set up manufacturing unit

Hyderabad, Jun 8: Datastrip Limited of UK, a leading provider of mobile biometric verification devices and 2D bar code software, in colloboration with BrickRed Technologies Private Limited, Noida, plans to bring enhanced identity management software solutions for various government agencies and private enterprises.

Talking to newspersons here, Datastrip CEO Steve Blackmore said in collaboration with BrickRed, Datastrip will provide end-to-end solutions for transport applications like driving licence and vehicle registration certificates, National ID cards, Social Security cards, health and various other ID card solutions.

He said the combined Datastrip/BrickRed solution can support the data collection, production, distribution and verification of a wide variety of identity documents ranging from employee ID badges to cards used for Government initiatives like National ID cards, Social Security cards or tamper-proof driving license. ''Datastrip is already a leader in mobile biometric verification technologies'', he added.

Mr Blackmore said with proven expertise of BrickRed in handling these operations, the partnership will help Datastrip to serve customers better.

BrickRed Chief Operating Officer Vinay Bansal said that the partnership will equip enterprises, government agencies and other organisations with the tools they need for issuance and management of biometric based cards to their customers, employees, or vendors and perform biometric identity verification anywhere on their premises or any other location which lacks a physical door structure.
