Computerised entry pass system introduced in ONGC Hazira plant

Surat, June 8 (UNI) The security system in the ONGC's Hazira plant here got a boost after the new computerised entry pass system was introduced for visitors from this week onwards.

Sources at ONGC said the new photo entry pass is part of the closed circuit TV monitoring system in the plant and is convenient for the security personnel.

According to the new system once the pass is entered, the details of the visitor along with the photograph will appear on a screen.

The data of the details will automatically be stored in the central server, sources said.

ONGC authorities have plans to enhance the photo entry pass system by adding more features to it.
