Van Basten annoyed about Dutch bus slogan

FREIBURG, Germany, June 7 (Reuters) Netherlands coach Marco van Basten is unhappy with their official slogan chosen by FIFA and displayed on the team bus at the World Cup.

Every country has been given a slogan and the orange bus used to transport the Dutch players at the tournament is adorned with the line: 'Orange on the way to gold'.

''We don't like it because we try to keep everything calm and this might be seen as a provocation'' Van Basten told reporters today.

''It is a screaming line and we contacted FIFA in an attempt to change it but without any result. We have to settle with this line.'' Dutch media officer Kees Jansma said Van Basten had called FIFA's marketing manager to complain but was told that it was impossible to change the slogan.

The other Group C slogans are 'Get up, Argentina are on the move', 'Come on the Elephants. Win the cup in style' for Ivory Coast and Serbia&Montenegro's 'For the love of the game'.
