Three roasted alive

Kanpur, June 7 (UNI) Three persons, including two children, were burns alive following a late night fire in Galla Mandi in Kanpur city of Uttar Pradesh.

A police spokesman said here today while Salini Gupta (35) along with her son Golu (7) and nephew Kajal (8) and her husband Sanjay were sleeping in a close door room, when the fire started leaving all of them seriously injured.

They were rushed to LLR hospital where Salini and her two children succumbed to injuries while the condition of her husband is stated to be serious.

Salini's brother however, lodged a complaint with the police alleging some foul play in the tragedy.
