Rathore's 'lost' gun traced

New Delhi, June 7 (UNI) Ace shooter Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore can heave a sigh of relief as Lufthansa has traced his baggage, including his Perazzi gun, which the airliner misplaced when the marksman was on his way back from the Cairo World Cup last month.

The Athens Olympic silver medallist was running from pillar to post to locate his costly Perazzi gun and was even forced to pull out of the ongoing ISSF-World Cup in Germany due to the incident.

In a statement here today, the airline said its security department in Frankfurt had confirmed that the case containing Rathore's gun had been identified.

After completing all formalities in Germany the gun will be sent on next flight to Delhi, according to a Lufthansa release.
