Raje govt most corrupt:Gehlot
Ajmer, June 7 (UNI) Terming the Vasundhara Raje-led Rajasthan government ''most corrupt,'' Congress general-secretary Ashok Gehlot today alleged that the state government was misappropriating Central funds meant for education, mid-day meals and development.
The former chief minister, while speaking to reporters here said, the Central grants for education, mid-day meals and development of villages were being ''misused'' by the Vasundhara Raje government.
He claimed the people engaged in drought relief works were being paid lesser than the requisitioned amount. ''The labourers have not been given their daily allowance for the past one and a half months,'' Mr Gehlot charged.
The state government has declared that it will reduce two working hours due to extreme heat but in reality, the scheme has not been implemented in many areas, he said.
He also termed the ongoing 'Jal Chetna Yatra' in various villages a ''stunt.'' UNI XC RRT YA BST1742
