Rain and thundershowers expected in next 24 hours

Mumbai, June 7 (UNI) Mainly cloudy sky and spell of rains alongwith thundershowers are likely to occur in parts of the city and its suburbs during next 24 hours, according to Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) here today.

Since the onset of rains in Mumbai, a total of 307.2 mm rainfall was recorded at Colaba, while 249.8 mm rainfall was recorded at Santacruz. During the last 24 hours 1.2 mm rainfall was recorded at Colaba and 3.4 mm at Santacruz, the IMD sources added.

Maximum of 35 degree Celsius and minimum of 24 degrees Celsius temperature was recorded at Colaba, whereas maximum 33 degree Celsius and minium 25 degrees Celsius was recorded in Santacruz.
