Normalcy restored in train running
Thiruvananthapuram, June 7 (UNI) Major work connected with route relay interlocking arrangements at the Ernakulam Junction railway station as part of the track doubling between Ernakulam and Mulanthuruthy was completed and normal train service restored from midnight last night.
The work, which began on May 29 last, was completed successfully as per schedule, a Railway press release here today said.
The new system will help improve train running and punctuality of trains, the release added.
