Maran lauds AP CM

Hyderabad, Jun 07 (UNI) Union Minister of Communications and Information Technology Dayanidhi Maran today congratulated Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and his team for bringing Fab City project to the state.

Speaking at the foundation stone laying ceremony of SemIndia Fab Private Limited here today, Mr Maran said but for Dr Reddy's efforts, the Fab City would not have come to Hyderabad.

Mr Maran said earlier Tamil Nadu was also in the race for the project. But Tamil Nadu was pushed back in the race due to the then AIADMK Government's policy.

It boiled down to Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. But Dr Reddy tilted the scales in favour of his state with unrelenting efforts.
